Question
I have 2 day old kits. 2 of them get really fat but the other one is smaller and its tummy doesn't look as full. I held the momma and let it nurse. Its belly got really full! It seems healthy and energetic. Should I worry that this might be a peanut?  Is is okay to help it nurse from the mom?

Answer
I am really sorry that it took me so long to get back with you. My computer has been on the verge of breaking down. :( I got it fixed today.
To your question...
It is only a peanut if and only if both parents were of a dwarf breed. like netherland dwarf, mini rex, holland lops, dwarf hotots, jersey woolies.
If it is a peanut it will not make it past more than 10 days, their bodies cannot digest milk properly and they starve to death. If it is thriving from you helping it nurse, then it is ok to help it. Once it gets a little older and bigger it will not need your help.
