Humping bunnies

HI Dana,

I was just wondering, if i get my female bunny who loves being humped and huping my neutered boy bunny- will all the humping stop or will she just stop? He has been neutered for a long time now and she is not having false pregnancies.

Humping isn't just sexual in rabbits.  It's also a sign of dominance.  But the real danger in not having the female spayed is her very high risk of uterine cancer:

The humping is also a sign of sexual frustration, and this is stressful for her, even if she's not having false pregnancies.  I hope you'll do her a favor and have her spayed by a good rabbit vet.  Your male bunny will probably thank you, too.
