bunnies giving birth

Question
I received 2 lop eared bunnies for Xmas.  Apparently the people from the pet store could not determine what sex they were.  Well I soon found out that I have a male and a female.  Last night my female started to remove her hair from her body.  Then about 1 hour later, she gave birth to one baby.  It wasn't alive.  We left her be for a little while before removing the baby from the cage.  I went to the pet store and asked if it was ok for me to clean her cage because she had flipped over her nesting box, and they said no problem.  And also told me that she would not be having anymore.  Well, today I tried to clean her cage.  She got very agitated, and started removing more hair from her body.  Lots of it.  So I fixed her nesting box again, put it back in and I'm letting her relax.  Is it possible that she can still give birth to more??

Answer
It's not likely to give birth so far apart...but having only 1 isn't either..I would seperate the male and female first...let the mother be for a couple days,if you see that she becomes lethargic and not eating, call a vet.
If the male and female were together after she gave birth,it's likely that she became pregnant again.  Rabbits will mate within 1 hour after giving birth!  The pet stroe should help you with any futur problems you may have with babies,or a sick mother,as she was too young to have babies and it is not healthy for her.  This is the reason she flipped over the box ect..too young.
good luck,I hope she will be ok after all this,Elizabeth
