Bunny wont eat making noise

Question
We brought a young female bunny home 4 days ago. This morning when I went to feed her alfalfa and Vita Vittles she had not eaten her food. She also has hay in her cage. Checked on her this afternoon, still had not eaten anything and she is making a noise with her teeth and mouth sounds almost like grinding. I noticed a soft dropping. She is drinking electrolyte water. She just did another soft dropping and is lying stretched out.

Answer
Dear Consuelo,

Inappetence, lethargy, and loud tooth grinding are signs that the bunny is sick and in pain.  Soft stool in a baby rabbit can be extremely dangerous, and kill very quickly if prompt action is not taken.  Please get the bunny to a good rabbit vet ASAP:

and read this in advance, so you'll know what to ask:

If the bunny is less than 8 weeks old, she is too young to be weaned, and could be suffering from very severe intestinal disorder that could kill her if prompt supportive care (e.g., subcutaneous fluids, antibiotics to control possible E. coli from human contact, pediatric simethicone to control gas, and Immodium in case of severe diarrhea) is not given soon.  This is why you need a good rabbit vet who is familiar with all this, and will not treat the little rabbit as if she is a puppy or kitten.  She is completely different in her medical needs, so you will require a specialist who advertises expertise with "exotics" and has experience with rabbits.

I hope this helps.  Please waste no time in getting the little bunny to a good rabbit vet if you wish to save her life.
