Question
We just aquired a new rabbit but do not know the breed.  He is a larger rabbit who is white with a grayish/tan tail, ears, nose, and feet.  He also has red eyes.  Any help would be appreciated thanks

Answer
It sounds like he is Californian or Himalayan in colour. Both are the same colour, just different names for the same colour. It looks kind of like a Siamese cat. As for actual breed, there are a few different large breeds that commonly come in that colour. The breed Californian is the most common. It is a fairly large breed. It has normal fur.

Satins and rex also come in Californian. Rex have short fur that is like velvet. Satins have extremely shiny fur, and the white parts of the fur often have a slight creamy or yellow cast to them.
