Question
I have three generations of Dwarfs (don't know any more specifics).  I now have five babies, 6 weeks old.  Two have really long fur.  We haven't seen this before.  Is it a possible that maybe angora was somewhere in their past?

Answer
It may be from a cross to Jersey Wooly at some point in their background. Jersey Woolies were created from crossing French Angoras and Netherland Dwarfs, so the long hair gene does pop up from time to time in Netherland Dwarfs. Plus every once in a while people still cross Jersey Woolies to Netherland Dwarfs. There is no real reason to, but some people do it.
