Question
hi, i am hoping to get a rabbit for my birthday, but i am concerned about my pet cat evie, will she get jealous or attack my rabbit when i get it ?  also i cannot find much info on the internet about them so could you please tell me how you toilet train them?

Answer
Hi Vaila

Cats can be bonded with rabbits.  I have to tell you though I am not a cat expert.  I deal with exotic animals only.  However I know plenty of people that have rabbits and cats living happily together.  I imagine you are going to have to bond them very similar to the same way you would any other animal.  Let them get used to each others scents and smells before you try letting them together.  You aren't going to want to introduce them in evie's territory.  Try to introduce them in a strange place where evie isn't allowed to be.  Then she won't feel like the bunny is invading her territory.

I will give you a web-site I found. I don't know whose it is or if she takes emails but she has about 10 rabbits and a whole bunch of cats.  She might be able to answer some questions for you.

This is a site for litter training.  Just remember that the bunny will need a separate litter box than the kitty.

Good luck and I hope they get along.  All matches are possible but it will take work.

Thank you
