Question
I HAVE A HOLLAND LOP RABBIT WHO WAS NEUTERED ABOUT A MONTH. I ALSO MOVED 2 MONTHS AGO WHERE A DOG A CAT ARE IN THE LIVING SITUATIONS. I HAVE SNUGGLES BLOCKED OFF TO  A FAIRLY WELL SIZED AREA. HE HAS BECOME VERY TERRITORIAL & AGGRESSIVE. IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO HANDLE HIM AT TIMES.
WITH ALL OF THIS HE HAS GOTTEN OUT A FEW TIME AND WENT AFTER THE CAT GRUNTING AND THE DOG WHO IS A BEAGEL MIGHT I ADD.  IS THERE ANY ADVICE YOU CAN GIVE ME WITH SNUGGLES AND THIS SITUATION? I APPRECIATE YOUR TIME.

Answer
Give him another month to let all the hormones finish flushing out of him.

He may also feel threatened by the dog and the cat. Rabbits are natural prey to both species, and a beagle especially. Beagles were bred specifically for hunting rabbits.

If he continues to be aggressive toward you, you can show him dominance. If he acts aggressive, place your hand on his back and hold him down. If he struggles, be careful not to harm him, but holding him down is similar to what a dominant rabbit would do in the wild. You can also discourage him from being aggressive by tapping him lightly on the nose when he acts out of line. At the same time tell him in a firm voice, "No!". If he stops, reward him with a treat and by petting him between his eyes or between his ears.
