Old age?

Question
My bunny is seven years old. A couple of days ago, my family and I found that he urinated on the bathroom floor near his cage. He runs around a lot and is rarely locked in his cage and normally behaves extremely well, so this was very odd. This morning I awoke to yet another puddle of urine on the bathroom floor. What could it be? Old age? Or is he sick?

Answer
Dear El,

At the age of seven, your bunny isn't old.  Odd litterbox habits can signal a medical problem that needs to be addressed:

You can find a good rabbit vet here to help you:

There are many things that can cause a bunny to urinate in unusual places, and the article above will give you an overview so you'll know what to ask the vet.

I hope this helps.
