Questionwill baby bunnies be safe in a cage with two female rabbits
AnswerDear Cindy,
As long as the babies are safely tucked away in a nest box, and the two female rabbits have lots of room to move so that they don't want to hop into the box for more space (and stomp the babies), they should be fine.
If both rabbits are gentle in nature, they should not harm the babies. Some rabbits are more aggressive, and will chase and bite a fast-moving, small animal (such as a baby running around, once it's left the nest box), so if the non-mother is of that nature, she should probably not be in the same enclosure with the babies, once they are mobile.
