Question
I have my bunny about 4 months now and he is about 8/9 months old. Last month I noticed that h produced less poop and smaller in size for few days although he was still eat/drink as normal. I bought him to the vet, and Dr said he had a hairball inside stomach, and needed to massage the stomach in the next few days.  I bought him back the next day for the vet for the massage section, vet said the hair ball was smaller, so he just asked me to massage him gently myself and feed him pineapple juice. Few days after that, he did not eat, so I immediately bought him to the vet and suprising vet said my baby 's hairball was gone.  Also the vet said may be baby is too stressful for the last couple of days and may had irritation when he tried to eat.  Vet said i worried too much.  So after few days, my baby seemed to be fine. For the next 3 weeks, his poop was large, but the still contained some really tiny one.  Until last Saturday, his poop dramatically reduced again all in a sudden.  I bought a pineapple again and feed him food as usual and seemed to be okay but the poops was not completly normal since last month when i first notice the small poop.  I did quite a bit of reseach how to care give my baby, I feed him veggies, unlimited timothy, hay, fresh oat grass, 1/4 cups of pellets per day and i let him run around whenever i'm home.  But I am really worry basically everyday about his condition. It seems that he will never be back to normal. I really want to know what i did wrong to prevent this from happening. I really love him please help me.  Also,  I am sure if it's relevant, he still eat as normal, eat less timothy hay, did not drink water but he pee quite a bit.

Answer
hi charlene -not sure i agree with the vet and i dont like its diet -fruit juice and veg will only give it the runs -all they need to eat is pellets and hay for a normal diet -
if youwant togive it a bit of greens just give a small amount once a week but never give it any fruit.
