Question
I have two Netherland Dwarf rabbits, one male and one female. The female is about 3 and a half months old and the male just turned two. The male, Smoky Joe, lives in a smaller cage than Maya, the female...there hutch is outside and I was wondering what I'm supposed to do make sure they stay warm in the winter? Can I bring them inside for short amounts of time during the day to get them out of the cold or would that be bad for them? I'm a beginner at all of this so I don't know too much about them. Please give me some tips on my rabbits, THANKS!!

Sincerely,
Alyvia A.

Answer
Dear Alyvia,

It's actually best if the bunnies are inside *all* the time, as they are in danger from predators and the elements in an outdoor hutch, no matter how secure you think it is.

For instructions on litterbox training, spay/neuter, and all the things you need to know and expect in living with house rabbits, please visit:

and click on "House Rabbits 101" at the top of the page.
You'll wonder why you waited so long!  :)

Hope that helps.
