bunny poop and pee

I have a dwarf bunny and I've had her for almost 5 months. Usually when she poops or pee she gets into a kinda half standing position, but lately she's been peeing and pooping while she's laying down. Is this something I should be concerned about? Is this even normal? Did my bunny just get lazy?

Dear Vee,

Although some bunnies will leave a little pile of poop behind them when they sleep sometimes, it is definitely not normal for her to lie down and urinate, and then lie in her urine.  This could signify a serious health problem, perhaps a urinary tract infection, bladder sludge or other disorder.  Please read:
