Baby bunny not eating...but still pooping?

Question
Hi, I have raised this bunny from birth. It is about 7 weeks old and I have noticed that recently I never see it eat. I feed it carrots (that's the only thing it prefers) but it never eats a lot. Today I heard loud teeth grinding noises that didn't seem normal. And it's poop is stuck to its fur nowadays. It is awfully small compared to the other 7 week bunny we have, about the size of my hand when it's sitting and curled up. I feel the tummy and it is skinny, but if the bunny's not eating, how is it living? And today I noticed there is some discharge in the eye and the eyelids are red.

Answer
Dear Ann,

The baby sounds ill, and it would be wise to get him to a good rabbit vet immediately for subcutaneous fluids, and possibly antibiotics and anti-parasitic medication, if necessary.  Find a good vet here:

www.rabbit.org/vets

and if the vet is amenable to information from a stranger on the internet, please also read:

I hope this helps.
