QuestionI have 2 male bunnies. One recently attacked the other and left a pretty nice gash up my his neck. The wound has scabbed up but now his urine is a reddish-orange color-- I am pretty sure it is blood. Any suggestions as to why this could be happening?
AnswerDear Gina,
If you think the color of his urine may have something to do with the fight, then please get the bunny to a good rabbit vet ASAP:

Although rabbit urine can range in color from pale yellow to orange to red to brown, depending on what the bunny has been ingesting, and his emotional state, it's not always possible to tell what's blood just by looking.
It's better to be safe than sorry.
Hope this helps.
