rabbit sprain/ broken bone?

Question
I have a 7 month old rabbit. I have noticed that it is limping on its right arm and its left arm is almost curled up, it is not putting any pressure on it when sitting up. It can still walk and run, but it does not do this very fast, or dig like it used to. Could this be a sprained or broken arm, and can this be caused by excessive digging, or did something else happen to it?

Answer
It could be a sprain, a broken bone, a dislocated shoulder, a tumor or some other kind of illness or injury. Unfortunately there is no way to know without seeing a vet, so I'd make an appointment for him ASAP.

If money is an issue, then call around to the vets in the area and see if any of them offer a payment plan. You can find a list of rabbit savvy vets here:

And, if finances are an issue, some vets will offer payment plans. CareCredit is also a way to get the extra funds you need for vet bills:

In the meantime, here are some resources on skeletal injuries:

Hope that helps!
