Questionhow can i find out how old my rabbit is
AnswerDear Amanda,
If you don't know your rabbit's birth date, it's nearly impossible to guess the age. Take pictures of her now, weigh her, and monitor her for any changes. If her weight and size increase, then she's less than a year old. But once she's over a year, it becomes nearly impossible to tell until she starts showing signs of age: thickening of the eye lenses (which can give the eyes a greenish cast), browning of the teeth, thickening of the toenails. But even these signs vary among rabbits and are not a good gauge of exact age.
An experienced rabbit vet:

might be able to have a look at her and take a guess at her age. But it will be just that: a guess.
Wish I could tell you otherwise, but you'll just have to love her without knowing her exact age.
Take care,
Dana
