crusty thing on rabbits ear

My rabbit has this crusty grayish thing on her ear lobe and I'm worried if it might get infected. Should I take her to a vet? or put on flea and tick spray

Dear Berenice,

Never use flea/tick spray on a rabbit.  It's not safe for their delicate respiratory system.  There are good, safe products on the market for fleas/ticks on rabbits:

and they are available from a good rabbit vet:

If you're not sure what the crusty stuff is (it sounds like mange, but since I can't see it I can't be sure), then don't treat it with anything.  Get bun to a good rabbit vet for proper diagnosis and safe treatment, and everyone will be happy.  :)
