rabbit fur loss in front right leg

22 10:33:20

Question
My rabbit's been diagnosed for fur mites by the vet and was already injected a medicine to stop this. But after a few days i've noticed that he's been losing his fur in his front right leg a lot more, now all the fur is gone in that area, because before it's only on one side, even has thin fur in that are. Is it possible because of his urine? he's not litter and he's been taking a leak on his bed. But his other legs are in good condition.

Answer
Dear Lein,

Is it possible that he's overgrooming that leg and pulling out the fur?  Ask the vet where he gave the ivermectin injection.  If it was close to the front leg on the back, a nerve may have been hit.  The bunny could be experiencing numbness, and chewing at the leg.

If it's a front leg, it's not very likely to be urine burn, but please read:

to see if anything rings a bell.  A good rabbit vet who's different from the one you already saw may also have some ideas:

I hope this helps.
