Answer
Hi Kiara,

Holland Lops are probably the most popular rabbit breed available.  Their small size and personality make them a lot of fun to have around.

I don't know that they really have a mating call.  Since rabbits are naturally prey animals, their primary function in life is to reproduce to keep the population up against predators.  Once males reach puberty, usually around 3 months old or so depending on breed...they are pretty much ready to make babies around the clock.  Females become sexually mature about 6 months old or so.  They are "induced ovulators".  That means they don't really have a "heat" cycle like dogs or cats.  They are fertile for all but a few days each month.  The can conceive at most anytime shortly after being mounted by a male.  While some rabbits can be vocal, I don't know of any noise they would make to attract the opposite sex.  The thumping is a univeral warning of danger to other rabbits....most of the time a predator is near or they think one is near.  A scream is an indication that a rabbit is in fear of it's life or the sign of extreme pain.

Here are a couple of sites you might find helpful.  Look them over and if you need more info, I have plenty more.
