Our baby Mini-Rex

Question
I am a owner of a 2-1/2 months old Mini Rex named "Bella".  Our Bella is energetic, playfull, and very friendly. But lately, she seems to be tired and her droppings are smaller and some are soft.

Is she sick?

Answer
It sounds like she could be.  Changes in stools are usually a good tip off that something is not quite right with a rabbit.  Being tired in a young rabbit is also something that was helpful of you to note.

What you should do is give a rabbit savvy vet a call and set up an appointment to have her checked out.

There are some things you will want to look for and if you notice them, tell your vet:
change in eating and drinking
change in litter box habits
a change in diet before this change
if she is hunched over and grinding her teeth (a sign of pain)
if she doesn't move much and seems uncomfortable when she does
any gurgly sounds coming from her abdomen

if you don't have a vet, these sites have lists of recommended vets:

good luck
