lops & lettuce

The previous owner of my new lop told me that his vet said lettuce will kill lops.  My other rabbits have been eating red and green lettuce as part of their diet for a long time.  Are lops specially sensitive to lettuce?

yes lops are more sensitive to lettuce but it will not kill them, just make them very very ill. NO type of rabbit breed should eat lettuce as they also cant digest it properly. I would swap the lettuce with cabbage, cuecumber and carrots.
