neutered and litter trained rabbit recently urinating on funiture

Question
Hello,
I have a 1 and 1/2 year old male lionhead rabbit.  He was neutered about a month and a half ago and since then he has been pretty good with using his litter box.  But recently, (within the last two weeks or so), he has been urinating on beds, sofas, blankets, and pillows.  Mostly soft things.  He is still mainly using his litterbox, but with the exeption of peeing on the furniture.  He is eating and drinking regularily, active, has clear urine and doesn't show any of the other signs of urinary problems (stones or infection).  Could his hormomes still be acting up?  Thanks for any help that you could give.

Answer
hello christina

It is most probably because of his hormones. As it has only been a month 1/2 ago when he was neautered then he may still have sperm left in his system also him weeing on everything is a way of marking his territory. i would give it at least another week for him to get back to normal, dont let him run about as much but of course still cuddle and stroke him. if he carries on still weeing everywhere then you may have to try and train him more again.

good luck

hope this helps
