i think my rabbit is lonley

i have a 2 year old (female, spayed) rabbit. do you think i should introduce a new rabbit or other animal e.g. guinea-pig to prevent her from getting ,lonely. i have a cat, and they seem to get along fine but when my rabbit tries to get up lose and snuggle down or groom my cat the cat will run away. i thought by getting another rabbit or animal it would prevent my rabbit from becoming lonely, and feeling a bit rejected from my cat!

yes your rabbit will love to have a buddy. rabbits can be very sociable animals and love to have company. try getting another female bunny around the same age and size and introduce them slowly in a new enviroment such as a run to avoide fighting.
