Re-introducing rabbits

Question
I have two female, lop-eared rabbits, who are 6 months old. We got them together, so they have always known each other. They have always been happy together and enjoyed grooming each other, etc. Due to the hot weather, 2 months ago we moved the rabbits outside. They really love being outside. They have a run and a hutch and we also let them have some time to run around the garden. One of the rabbits is more adventurous and has escaped out of the garden 3 times. She has always come back and been happy to be be back. She escaped this weekend, and now she has come back, seems to not want to be with the other rabbit. She runs away from her, and has pulled some of her fur out. The other rabbit is not being aggressive, she just goes up to her and tries to be affectionate. We don't understand what is going on and need some advice! Thanks.

Answer
hello amy

unfortunatly this does happen alot with rabbits even when they are siblings. depending on how long it has been since she last came back then it could just be that she is afraid, as when she had escaped something could have really scared her and she dont feel safe. give her loads of cuddles.
