Question
sorry for asking but is it possible for a dwarf rabbit to have two pregnancies at once? and where would you recommend to buy a nesting box?

Answer
It is possible for any breed of rabbit to have two pregnancies  at the same time. Because a rabbit has two uterine horns and because they ovulate when bred rather than have a cycle like a human or a dog. If left with a male for a long period of time or if bred once then 5-6 days                        later bred again, then you can end up with two pregnancies, this is dangerous and should be avoided if possible.  If you believe your doe has two pregnancies at the same time, then be warned that alot of times the babies do not live. Because the hormones that support pregnancy will be messed up due to trying to support two at once.  This can also lead to doe death if not watch carefully, you can have stillborn kits in the birth canal which will block the others from being delivered, which can in some cases cause death.

So if you think your doe has a double pregnancie, watch them very carefully and make sure to get medical help at the first sign of trouble.

Also a good place to buy nest boxes are Tractor Suppply, Orschlens, or you can purchase a plastic litter box from Wal-Mart, they generally have a couple of sizes and the small size works great for my mini rex.  These are actually what I prefer to use, due to their price, ease of disenfecting between litters, and their size.  In  a pinch you can use a n old shoe box, or a tuppar ware container as long as it is a couple of inches longer and wider than the doe.
