Question
my darling cocoa is about 9 months old.  i want to have her fixed but as i live
paycheck to paycheck since we recently relocated to another state, i don't yet
have the funds.  and it's really a shame since her hormones seem to have
exploded in the last week!

she's been mounting me constantly (but nothing else), doing a lot of grunting
and circling, and wants nonstop love and attention- pouting and stomping
when she doesn't get her way.  she has even had her first accident in six
months... several of them!  i know this is really hard on her, and until i can
get her fixed, i just want to do something to soothe her.  is there anything i
can do to help her out?

Answer
Dear Tyler,

I wish I could tell you that there was something you could do to calm her, but there isn't.  Only that spay will solve this problem.

The added stress of moving to a new place has probably exacerbated her clinginess and hormone-related behaviors, so as she adjusts to her new place she might calm down. But really the best thing to do (which you probably already know) is to have her spayed as soon as possible.

You can find a good rabbit vet here:

I hope this helps.
