Baby Bunnies Coming?

Question
We adopted two lion-head bunnies about two weeks ago. We do not know if
they are a boy/girl. We really don't know much about them at all, age...etc. One
of the bunnies is bigger and seems to have nipples on her/his tummy. The  other
is much smaller and has been trying to mate.....help! do you think we could be
having baby bunnies anytime soon? Do boy bunnies have nipples?! YIPES! :)

Answer
Okay the first thing I suggest is to separate the rabbits immediately. IF the doe is pregnant (only females have nipples) she needs to be alone with a nest box to be able to have her kits without any issues or aggression. Secondly I suggest doing a sex check on your rabbits to be sure please look at

Then check out

to find the best information on breeding rabbits.

I suggest assuming that she is pregnant and treating her as such. And do not put the male back in with her unless they are both neutered.  This way you do not have any other "unexpected suprises" lol.

Feel free to holler back at me if you have any more questions

Good Luck
