QuestionHi, I recently bought three rabbits a few months ago. 1 was a mini rex (buddy), and 2 were supposed to be female, but we suspect one is a male, they are both dutch (brother and sister). The male dutch rabbit is about 5 months old now, and i just noticed a very strange thing on his underside near his privates. I've never owned a male rabbit before, i have had 4 females in the past, so i am unsure if it is normal because buddy does not seem to have the same deformity. It is right around the anus, and it looks like 2 long lumps on each side of it, kind of looks like testicles, but as i said, buddy does not seem to have the same thing, so i am wondering if this is a disease, or normal for only dutch rabbits. Just want to make sure in case. please reply soon thank you, Jessica
AnswerDear Jessica,
That sounds like normal rabbit testicles (any breed--not just Dutch rabbits) to me. To check, you can see pictures linked here:

That means it's time for the males to be neutered so you don't have a million rabbits in the blink of an eye. Please read:

and

Then find a good vet here:

who can help you. Please also read:

Hope that helps!
