droppings

we have a 8 week old rabbit and we are trying to liter train her. she leaves her droppings on the shelf where she eats. is that normal.

Answer
That is perfectly normal, I suggest putting some of her food and hay in her litter box so that as she is eating (and pooing) she is hitting her litter box then slowly move the food away.  At 8 weeks don't expect perfection as she is still just a baby, however the older they get the better they are about makeing sure it is in the box rather than just were ever.
