2 male lops

I have 2 male lop eared rabbits about 4-6 weeks old. They get along great. Can they be kept in the same cage?

Hi Kelly,

Male rabbits can only be kept together until about 10 weeks old.  Once the get their hormones they will start to fight.  You can have them neutered and attempt to bond them.  There has been some success with bonding neutered bucks.  Often times they will never be bonded.  Bucks are very difficult to bond.  I would recommend separating them before they reach 10 weeks old and getting them lots of toys to entertain them.
