Bobby my rabbit

Hi there,

I have a rabbit who is now almost 4 and i've been noticing over the last month off and on she has been raising her head in the air but also panting as if she's stuggling to breathe. She will do this but then the next day she will be fine. I have done some research on this myself and allergies have been mentioned so i have changed her food, bedding and sawdust but just noticed she's doing it again. Any advice at all.

Hi Ellen. I would suggest that you take your bunny to the vet. It sounds to me like it may have some sort of resperitory problem. Baytril is a good antibiotic to use if your vet doesn't know much about rabbits. I hope you can get this taken care of and your bunny returns to good health.  Pat
