Do rabbits have good eye sight and how long do they live?

Hi Violet. Rabbits can live for as much as 12 years but most survive only to about six or seven. Much depends on how well they are protected and cared for. A rabbits eye sight is not as good as the preditors that chase it. They depend more or there excellent hearing to warn them of danger. Many times when I go into the rabbit building with a new coat on or a hood on my head it scares them to death unless  I speak to them first as they do not recognize me. They see movement well but not details.   Pat
