Question
i have a 2 month rabbit that i have had since she was 6 weeks old.  when i first got her i held her all the time, and she for the most part stayed in one place and let me hold her.  but as she is older now, she fights when i pick her up....her nails are so sharp, and she will not let me cut them....i am a dog groomer, and this bunny has got nothing on any dog nails that i have ever groomed....lol...she is 10 times more squirmy than a dog.  when i pull her out of her cage head first, she fight and scrathches, but when i pull her out rear end first, she is alright....same with going in.  what can i do to get my cuddle bunny back.  i dont know if this is the right conversation for you, but everyone else was either maxed out or on vacation..can you help me with this matter.  keep in mind this is my first rabbit, and i love her very much

Answer
hi rachel the best way is to take her out the cage and then turn her upside down in your hand she will lay there without any stress -i then pull her to my side still upside down and cut her nails with my other hand.
the only way she will become really quite is tohave her spayed.
