QuestionI saved a little rabbit from my cat. his fur has been torn but the skin is not broken into. How do I go about treat its wound? Also, the fur is hanging from the rabbit.
AnswerDear Keleka,
Get the baby to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator immediately:

This baby will not survive in your care, especially if wounded by a cat. This means that he needs antibiotics immediately to avoid fatal systemic infection: cat mouths are filthy with deadly bacteria. The hanging fur will also mean that there is a wound that could cause her to die of shock and/or dehydration without immediate medical attention.
Please find a good rabbit vet here:
www.rabbit.org/vets
if you cannot find a wildlife rehabber. For emergency instructions in the meantime, please read:

But please waste no time in getting the baby to someone who can save his life.
I hope this helps.
