Question
a cat caught a baby rabbit  the cat was carrying the baby by its neck. the only visible damage to it seems a small laceration to its rear foot. the rabbit will not sit up. it has movement in its front legs and rear legs if touched. it pooped in the box and ate a small bit of food. it doesnt appear to be in pain or to be having problems breathing. it just stays on its side. it will sit up if placed in that position. we would like to return it to its warren as soon as possible. how can i tell if it is premanity damaged?

Answer
Hello there !
sorry for the delay  my PC crashed.
in regards to your question
If the baby rabbit is still well then it should be OK but it sounds like there are more injuries than you can see. if it is having trouble breathing & just lays there  it looks grim.
hopefully all is well now.
Good luck
