Question
My rabbit had 5 babies and now they are 3 weeks old. the
Littlest one has a bald spot on its head, a little bit above
between its eyes he/she's had it since he/she was about 2-
2.1/2 weeks old I didnt think about it to much before, I
thought that maybe it was just thining out a lil bit but its
gotten worse since then! Now its biger and roundish but it
looks just pink not red or anything and none of the other
bunnies have it and I'v never seen them pick on him/her but
I caught him/her scratching at it a few times so I just
wanted to see if you knew what was wrong. PLEEZ HELP ME!

Answer
Dear Malia,

If you can get a good rabbit vet to have a look, that would be best.  Bring everyone, including mama.  This might just be overgrooming, but it could also be mites (a weaker baby might show signs, and the others won't, even if they have a very small, sub-clinical population).

We have used Revolution (selamectin) on *very* tiny babies with good results, but you must get this from the vet, as it requires a prescription and proper instructions from the vet.
