Bunny doesnt chew on anything!

Question
Our 4-month-old male french lop doesn't chew on things around the house!  No electrical cords, walls, wood, paper, cardboard, etc.  We keep giving him safe items to chomp, but, he won't.  He won't chew on anything except his food!
So my question is -- WHY!!  Is he okay??
thanks and blessings

Answer
Hi,

yes, rabbits that don't chew on anything except food (hay, pellets) are okay.  Unusual but okay.

I also wouldn't put it past him to start chewing pretty soon.  He's only 4 months old.  He will be hitting sexual maturity very soon, so his hormones will probably get him to do some things he hasn't done before.  You will need to start looking for a good rabbit vet for neutering when that occurs.  It will make sure he keeps good litter habits, stop him from spraying you, and beign sexually frustrated all the time.
