Rabbit drinking a lot

Question
I saw a answer about excessive drinking and pooping
could this also be caused by diabetes and if so would there be medication
my rabbit was not always like this.

Dear Myron,

Diabetes can occur in a rabbit, but it is *very* rare.  Excessive drinking coupled with copious urination of clear pee is more often a sign of renal disease.  This can be checked by a good rabbit vet:

who can draw blood for a complete blood chemistry and blood count to be sure all is well.  Note that glucose levels can skyrocket in rabbits simply from the stress of a vet visit.  So I would not automatically interpret high glucose as a sign of diabetes in a rabbit.
