My rabbits nose fell off

Question
We have this rabbit for about 2 months now. At first, we decided to keep her inside our house, because she was still a baby. But after some weeks, I had an allergy, so may parents decided to have her outside. After a week of her being outside, the fur around her nose started to dry. We thought that probable it was just the temperature, it was cold at night. Then after a few more days, her nose became dry and it fell off. The fur on her feet is drying up as well. And the exterior of her ears have these small, hard spots on them. What do you think this is? And what should we do?

Answer
Dear Paulina,

I can't see the bunny to know for sure, but it sounds as if she has mange.  This requires treatment buy a veterinarian, as it is painful and itchy.  Please find a vet right away who can give your bunny Revolution (selamectin) or ivermectin.  In a small baby, this could possibly be life-threatening.

Please read this:

which also has pictures showing this condition.  Do not delay in getting her to a good rabbit vet!  Ivermectin will also work, if you cannot get Revolution.

I hope you can get this poor baby treated as soon as possible.  The condition is very curable, but you need to have it treated NOW.
