I just need to know: Wild baby cottontails

Question
I have 2 cottontails that are about 21 to about 28 days old. they get fed KRM about 3 to 4 times a day.I clean their tank every other day and wipe them down with a wet wipe every other day.
Their cage is pretty big and they got all kinds of stuff to chew on but the food that I got them I'm not sure if their eating it very much.I got them the food that has the all varietys in it that way I could see what they like the most.Should I cut down on the KMR or take from them completely?Instead of a water bottle like a gerbil gets should I put it in a bowl? How much should they be allowed to run around outside the cage? we are definetly keeping them.I've had them for almost 3 weeks now.

Answer
Dear Britny,

Domestic rabbits cannot live in the wild, but wild rabbits also cannot live in captivity.  Once these babies reach maturity, they will be very wild and not suitable to keep in a cage or in any sort of captivity.  Please see:
