Need Help for my 11-day old bunny

Question
I'm very worried with my baby rabbit.  3 days ago, she seemed to be on severe pain and i thought she'll die!  we rushed her to a vet, but unfortunately, she can't give us any information (she's suspecting 3 reasons for the bunny's stomach pain) and she didn't give any meds because she said the bunny's too young for meds and her liver can't process it yet.  she just advised us to hand feed her and observe her.  but since yesterday, i've observed that she's very weak and she's loosing her balance because her legs seemed very week.  she's just lying down and won't move.  but she's still got her appetite.  i'm worried that she might have this GI.  can you tell me something about this problem.  thanks!

Answer
Hi There

Weak and loss of balance could be parasites interrupting the central nervous system. Check her over thoroughly for any evidence of fleas, mites or evidence of them such as flea dirt.

It could be that she is getting weak from lack of food. She may have GI stasis at this point, however, if she is still eating and drinking then this is good! Keep giving her as much as she wants to eat to sustain her weight. Often in GI stasis the rabbit will cease eating entirely. If she does this you will need to substitute her with kitten milk and ensure that she keeps eating...

Are any of the other rabbits showing any signs of anything unusual? Runny noses / eyes? Generally the weakest immune system is affected first, but the others might follow suit. The best thing for her is her Mothers milk because she will get antibodies from it. Only substitute her if absolutely necessary. I would also weigh her daily to ensure she is gaining...

I'm sorry for the delay in response time, I have been dealing with a family emergency. Let me know an update on how she is and how the rest of the litter (I am assuming it is a litter of baby bunnies) this will help indicate one of many reasons of why this is happening and I will help you narrow it down.
