Deck

We live on the second story, can I let my rabbit jump around freely on the deck or will she try to jump off?

Hi,

no, do not put her out on the deck.  I would advise against it. Not only is there a falling risk, but there is also a hawk or other predator risk that can happen.  Any kind of loud noise when they are out there could spook them into trying to 'flee' and they could leap off your shoulder or run themselves off the deck.  They are safest indoors and as an indoor bunny, they don't feel they are missing anything.  You go through all the trouble of keeping them in a safe environment, don't blow it by deliberately putting them into a less safe environment without a good reason, and then having the unexpected occur.  Too many pets die needlessly because the owner thought they'd like the something different.  

A better solution is to give her a little extra time on the floor with you, playing.  Or even just sitting with her in her area when you normally don't.
