Question
I have a female dwarf rabbit who keep kicking the back of her wooden cage at night but i know she's not in any pain or distress do u know if they also do this for attention i have tried putting a cover over her cage but she's still doing it have you any other ideas please.

Answer
Are you sure she is not thumping?  Rabbits thump for various reasons.  They will thumb if they feel they are in danger, they will thump from being angry.  Rabbits most active time is the time that we sleep.  Covering her cage is not going to help.  You are better off putting her in a room away from where everyone sleeps and giving her activities to do when she is bored.  I never recommend that anyone keep a bunny in their bedroom because of their night time activities.

Good luck
