Question
i have a year old checkered giant rabbit and i have noticed his front teeth are separting. is this normal?

Answer
Dear Angela,

No, it's not normal.  He may be developing a malocclusion, or may have broken something (hopefully only the teeth, which will grow back.)

I'm sorry for the delay, which was due to a very sad death in my family.  By now, you probably have gotten your bunny to a good rabbit vet.  But if the condition has persisted and bun has not yet been to a vet, please find one here:

and read this before you go, so you'll know what questions to ask:

Again, I am sorry for the delay.
