Flea treatment for rabbits

I am currently having a flea issue in my home and have treated my two dogs and cat with Advantage.  I also have a Lionhead rabbit that is approximately 3 lbs. and was wondering how to treat him.  I have read online that I can use Advantage for kittens but wanted another opinion.  I tried to call my Rabbit Vet this morning but they are closed for the entire week.

Hi Mary,

Ask the vet for Revolution.  Both Revolution and Advantage (not advantix) are safe for rabbits.  I personally prefer Revolution but if all your vet carries is Advantage it will also work.  There is an actual dose for rabbits but you would have to get that from the vet.  I suspect it is the same as a small cat.
