Question
Why does my rabbit squeak quietly when I am petting her... she likes to be pet, but I don't know why she is sqeaking or if I am doing something wrong.

Answer
Sarah,

If she didn't enjoy your pets, she would most certainly get up and remove herself from the situation (with bun-itude). A squeak though... that's different. Sounds to me like maybe she might be relaxed and possibly sleeping? I have a bun that sounds like he's wheezing a bit when he sleeps or is very relaxed. He basically snores. Any chance you can attach an audio file so I can hear it? Might help me better identify what she's feeling.

Best,

Christine
