Peeing in pool

Question
HI
Is it normal or OK behavior for baby pigs to pee in their pool. We have had the pool for several weeks and she would only drink out of it. We also use a pool in the house as a litter area. Today I put her out to go pee and seee first went to her outside area and then went in the pool.

Thanks

Answer
Yes, it's perfectly normal for piglets to potty when their feet get wet.

In the wild, one of the ways pigs hide from predators is by going potty in water. The water hides the potty and makes it a little harder for the predator to find the pig.

So it's a natural instinct for piggies to go potty when playing in a puddle or swimming pool. Piggies that get frequent baths often outgrow this urge.
