QuestionHello
How big does the cage need to be?
Can more then one hedgehog live in a cage?
AnswerThe cage should be as large as possible. You can never have too much room. I personally prefer a 50 gallon sterilite container, but I know a lot of people who use kiddy pools. You can only have more than one hedgehog if they grow up together and they are the same sex. I would not recommend a 10 gallon fish tank, that is way to small of an area. Hedgehogs love to roam and explore. You want them to have as much play room as possible. My hedgehog loved to push half toliet paper tubes around on her nose and love have a large space to do it. She was obsessed with the tp tubes. She loved to run on her wheel with them on her nose or use it to shovel her bedding around.
