QuestionI have had three hermit crabs in one 'crabitat' for a while now and one died (unknown causes, now I have gone and bought three more, each of which are more active than my original ones. Will they all make good friends?
Also, the day that I brought my first three hermit crabs home one got out and got lost. We thought the dog had eaten it, but about a week later (by now we had a proper cage) we found him roaming around upstairs. Yes, he climbed all the way up the stairs. Is he ok? He is a little bit shyer now, but I was wondering if he could be tramautized.

Yes they will all get along well, they might make some weird nosies at each other now and then when they pile ontop of each other or someone trys stealing the others food but thats ussally about it. The losty and found crab should be just fine but make sure that he has access to water as should all the others and is kept in a himid cage like all teh others, if you ever loose one again sit him in a inch or less of warm to cool water and soak him for a minute or two to rehydrate him before returning him to his cage with his friends.
